The KFC Foundation is awarding $200,000 in grants to 20 community-based non-profit organization projects focused on health and wellbeing. Kentucky Fried Wishes, one of the KFC Foundation’s community giving programs, invites non-profit organizations to apply for a grant to fund a project on their wish list. This year, the KFC Foundation will fund $650,000 in Kentucky Fried Wishes to 65 non-profits nationwide, with grants awarded based on different project categories throughout the year.

This cycle’s grant recipients span over 12 different states and support a variety of causes and communities, including:

Fredericksburg Christian Health Center, located in Fredericksburg, VA, is dedicated to serving uninsured or underinsured neighbors with high-quality, holistic healthcare. With the support of their Kentucky Fried Wishes grant, FCHC will purchase a charging station for their new mobile health clinic, bringing essential healthcare services directly to remote patients who often lack reliable transportation.

Hawkins County Humane Society, located in Rogersville, TN, rescues, cares for, and rehomes pets throughout Hawkins County. Their Kentucky Fried Wishes project is to install guillotine doors on their new dog kennel building and to build cat condos with portals within the new shelter building, improving the quality of life for the shelter’s animals.

Jordan Porco Foundation, located in Wethersfield, CT, promotes mental health and creates a message of hope for young adults. With their Kentucky Fried Wishes grant, the Jordan Porco Foundation will overhaul its outdated survey platform, enabling more efficient, dynamic data collection, management, and analysis, enhancing its ability to serve the community effectively.
